KYUS 92.3 FM maintains its powerful 100,000 watt omni-directional signal even at night. KYUS’s coverage area therefore remains undiminished after sunset. KMTA 1050 AM reduces its power from 10,000 watts to 136 watts at sunset. KMTA’s signal remains omni-directional at night and reaches out approximately 35 miles in all directions from Miles City after sunset.
